Each year during the "Celebration of Gospel Music" weekend convention, SGMA of Texas present its annual awards ceremony. Members of SGMA of Texas nominate and vote on their member peers in various categories including Group of the Year, Promoter of the Year, Musician of the Year, Vocalists of the Year, and more. Members of the organization are eligible for the awards.
