SGMA of Texas has members from around the state of Texas and neighboring states. Each member artist has their own unique ministry/performance-- some are seasoned with many years of travel and ministry, others are beginning their music ministry; some perform with live bands, others may use soundtracks; some are soloists, others may be trios and quartets. SGMA's membership represents a wide range of performance/ministry. SGMA does not promote any particular member artist, but celebrates and promotes gospel music. Singers, songwriters, musicians, and promoters join SGMA of Texas to celebrate and build gospel music as well, and to gain access to the networking, performance and educational opportunities. SGMA invites you to find out more about particular member artists by contacting them directly--see member roster. Members are rotated onto this spotlight page below to allow website visitors to gain more information on member artists.
X-alt Quartet
X-alt Quartet is a southern gospel group that has been in existence for five years, starting as 5 guys trying to get a song together to sing at a talent show at church. From there they have become a quartet of Jason Laule, Jake Campanello, Eric Garrett and Steve Bell. They have performed at the Forney and Wylie Opry,
several prisons, and churches.
After putting together some patriotic songs, including the National Anthem, they have sung for the Texas Rangers, The Fort Worth Blue Sox and several county Republican meeings including Kaufman, Bell and Collin counties. They have also performed at a national seniors conference in Branson Missouri.
